Your code stays in this tab

The tool compares pasted code on your device, in a local browser worker. It does not upload your code, comparison options or results. It does not store code in cookies, localStorage or a database. Closing or reloading the tab removes the tool’s working copy; your browser may have its own page restoration behavior.

Downloads

Selecting Download diff creates a local file from the displayed comparison. The file contains the compared code and can be read by anyone you share it with. The tool does not send that file to a server.

Website requests

Your browser requests this website’s HTML, styles, scripts and icon. The hosting provider may record these requests in access logs, including an IP address and browser information. This tool includes no analytics, advertising scripts or third-party code requests.

Cached files

The published site may cache its application files so it can load again without a connection. Those files do not contain your pasted code. You can remove cached files using your browser’s settings for this site.
